Uxbridge Youth Soccer League's In-Town program is for all children between 4 - 8 years old that are not yet old enough for the Travel Program. This program is geared towards teaching children basic soccer skills and preparing them for their move to our Travel Program. Using the Soccer-Plus program children are taught basic ball skills including dribbling, passing, and shooting.
As the children move up in the program skills such as offensive and defensive tactics are added so the children are ready for the transition to travel. We offer a variety of camps, leagues, and games throughout the year for all ages! We encourage participants of all ages and skill levels to come out and join us!
Our U-5 and U-6 Programs are Co-Ed, the U-8 teams are broken between boys and girls. Starting in 2012 the In-town program partnered with Challenger to bring the British Soccer Camp each summer.

When does the season start?
The Fall 2013 In-Town Season Starts on Sept 7th
When are the games?
The U5 and U6 teams do not have a game instead play a small sided game at the end of every practice. The U8 teams play their games on Saturdays at varying times.
Where are the practices and the games?
In the fall all of our games and practices are at the fields up on Sutton St. In the spring time practices are at Lower McKlosky Middle School and the U-8 games are over at Hecla St.
Are uniforms provided by the league?
We provide a uniform for free for all first time players. It consists of a reversible jersey, shorts and socks. There is a replacement fee if a new uniform is needed for a returning player. A new pair of socks will be given to each player at the beginning of each season.
What equipment does my child need?
Shinguards are mandatory. Cleats are recommended but not required.
Can I volunteer to coach my child's team?
Absolutely! UYSL is an all volunteer coaching staff so any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Do I need coaching experience to volunteer?
No, in fact if you have never played soccer you can still coach. Our Director of In-Town Coaching provides a curriculum, and a list of drills to be done at each practice. We also provide the Soccer-Plus text book as well as access to the Soccer Plus website.
