Where are the practices and the games?

In the fall all practices and games are at our Sutton Street Field.

Are uniforms provided by the league?

We provide a uniform for all players. It consists of a t-shirt and shorts.

What equipment does my child need?

Shin guards are mandatory. Cleats are recommended but not required.  All players need to bring a water bottle.  During COVID, players are recommended to bring their own soccer ball (size 3 for U4, U5, and U6, size 4 for U8).

Can I volunteer to coach my child's team?

Absolutely! UYSL is an all volunteer coaching staff so any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Do I need coaching experience to volunteer?

No, in fact if you have never played soccer you can still coach. There will be a coaches training before the beginning of the season, as well as two more during the season.  We provide the weekly curriculum.
